About the Role
We are looking for hardworking, reliable individuals to join our native landscaping installation team as Field Crew Technicians. This is an entry-level position, but previous experience with landscaping or gardening is preferred. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a team that creates meaningful, environmentally beneficial landscapes, this is a great fit. This position often qualifies for sustainability/environmental studies internship hours depending on your university.
What You’ll Do
Assist with installation of native landscapes, including prepping, planting, mulching, weeding, and general maintenance.
Use hand tools and basic equipment safely and effectively
Load, unload, and transport materials and plants
Follow instructions from crew leads to complete projects efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Support team members to meet daily project goals

Field Crew Lead

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Field Crew Lead to oversee installation projects and guide a team of technicians. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, working outdoors, and ensuring high-quality project execution.
What You’ll Do
Lead and supervise a crew of field technicians on landscaping installation projects
Coordinate daily tasks, timelines, and workflow on job sites
Train and mentor crew members, including entry-level staff
Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
Communicate with project managers and clients as needed
Operate tools and equipment and assist with installation work
Maintain organization of materials, tools, and job sites
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor (leadership experience preferred)
Proven leadership experience and excellent communication skills
Ability to manage a team and keep projects on track
High attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Experience operating heavy equipment (skid steer, tractor, mini excavator, dingo, etc.)
Reliable, organized, and proactive
